Since the beginning of the year, seven quakes with a force of up to three points have been recorded in Armenia, Emergency Situations Minister Felix Tsolakyan told reporters on Friday.

According to him, there is something to think about in the field of earthquake resistance, as first of all, it is necessary to solve the problem of seismic stability of schools, and measures are being taken in this direction.

He touched upon the Spitak earthquake and noted that new homes and schools are in better condition in Gyumri than in many places outside the disaster zone, as there are many old schools in Yerevan.

According to him, it is very important not to make the same mistakes during construction.
