During a press conference, Head of the Food Safety Inspectorate of Armenia Georgy Avetisyan declared that Armenia will be celebrating World Veterinary Day for the first time ever this year.

By the decision of the World Health Organization, World Veterinary Day is celebrated on the last Saturday of April. Armenia will celebrate a little earlier (whole next week) and will end the festivities on April 26.

On April 25, professional veterinarians will participate in a conference and share their scientific articles to their colleagues.
