Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a telegram of condolence to Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Angela Merkel on the tragic accident that took place on Madeira Island, reports the Government of the Republic of Armenia.

The telegram particularly reads as follows:

“I was deeply saddened by the news about the tragic accident that took place on Madeira Island and took the lives of nearly three dozens of people.

I express my deep condolences to and solidarity with you, the families and relatives of the victims, wishing spiritual endurance and patience to overcome this heavy sorrow. I wish speedy recovery to all the injured.”
