YEREVAN. – During the two-hour Facebook conference of the prime minister, we didn’t hear news about the settlement of the Karabakh conflict. Vice-chairman of the former ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), Armen Ashotyan, said this during his Facebook livestream on Saturday.

“[But] there are many developments [regarding the Karabakh issue],” Ashotyan said, in particular. “It’s apparent that after the last meeting, the Azerbaijani side is pursuing a very cunning and arrogant policy, whereas our MFA has ‘slept.’”

Ashotyan added that the Armenian MFA once again proves that the Azerbaijani and Russian MFAs work in agreement and support each other, and an unsuitable climate is being formed for Armenia.

“It turns out that during the meeting with [Azerbaijan President Ilham] Aliyev in Vienna, you have not been satisfied with solely the discussion of humanitarian projects,” the RPA vice-chairman said. “You need to tell about this, too. You are obligated to tell at least about the principles.”
