Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan congratulated Vladimir Zelensky on his victory in Ukrainian presidential elections.
“My sincere congratulations to Vladimir Zelensky on his decisive victory in democratic election of Ukrainian president,” Pashinyan tweeted in Ukrainian.
Armenian PM said he is confident that Zelensky will spare no effort “to bring friendly relations between Armenia and Ukraine to a new level and to serve our people”.
“I wish you success,” he added.
According to exit polls, Zelensky polled more than 70 percent. Ukrainian central electoral commission started presenting first results. With 1.61 % of ballots counted, Zelensky polled 70.94%, while Poroshenko – 26.71%. Poroshenko admitted defeat after the exit polls.
