There are 128 television and radio stations in Armenia, 118 of which have licenses and 7 are public, but those television and radio stations, don’t need to be licensed by law. This is what Chairman of the National Commission on Television and Radio of Armenia Tigran Hakobyan said as he presented the Report on the Activities of the National Commission on Television and Radio of Armenia.

According to him, the shows of three television stations are rebroadcast in Armenia through an interstate agreement. He also stated that there are 65 cable operators, of which 23 broadcast digitally.
