Unidentified persons set fire to the car of CNN Greece journalist Mina Karamitrou, who reports on criminal issues, RIA Novosti reported.

The car was set on fire about two o'clock in the morning near the house of the journalist. The car burned down completely.

The sources of the TV channel in the police connect the attack with the case of the famous terrorist Dimitris Koufontinas.

Many journalists oppose to free the terrorist.

According to CNN Greece, on the night of Tuesday, unidentified masked men also threw petrol bombs at the police station in the Athens district of Kesariani. This attack may also be related to the case of Koufontinas.

Koufontinas was arrested in 2002 and sentenced to 11 life sentences.
