The Iraqi government decided to purchase S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems (ZRS) from Russia, the ambassador of Iraq in Moscow, Haidar Mansour Hadi, said on Wednesday at a press conference following the eighth meeting of the Russian-Iraqi intergovernmental committee on trade, economic and scientific and technical cooperation, which was held in Baghdad on April 23-25, TASS reported

“With regard to air defense systems, the Iraqi government has made a decision. It wants to buy S-400,” he said.
