Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s date of visit to Russia is not conditioned by the 90th anniversary of the Treaty of Moscow, by which,  part of Armenia was transferred to Turkey, RF State Duma member, MP from “United Russia” party Sergey Markov told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“Great nations are not concerned over many problems of smaller nations,” Markov noted. Meanwhile, he stressed that Erdogan’s visit to Russia has a large agenda. “Besides economic issues, political and geopolitical issues will also be discussed. Russia and Turkey have agreed on many issues,” the MP said. According to him, Karabakh conflict resolution and Armenia-Turkey reconciliation will also be discussed during Erdogan’s visit.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Moscow on March 15. He will meet with Russian senior officials during his visit. According to some Armenian politicians, Erdogan’s visit to Moscow was specifically scheduled for March 16 to mark the 90th anniversary of the Treaty of Moscow.
