Requested by 47 deputies of the Armenian parliament, a parliamentary committee was established to investigate the circumstances of the April escalation in 2016, said Armenian parliament speaker Ararat Mirozyan on Friday.
According to constitutional law, the powers of the committee will be exercised by the Standing Parliamentary Committee on Defense and Security.
Andranik Kocharyan, a defense ex-deputy minister, My Step bloc MP is the chair of the committee.
