President of Russia Vladimir Putin has signed an order to prohibit airline companies from organizing flights from Russia to Georgia starting from July 8, reports RIA Novosti.

The head of state has also ordered the government to ensure the return of Russians located in the territory of Georgia.

In addition, the Russian leader has advised tour operators to not sell tickets from Russia to Georgia in the period of the ban.
