The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has prepared a draft decision that should oblige Russia to resume the production and turnover of low-alcohol tonic beverages.
The EEC document is intended to waive the restrictions introduced earlier in the country.
The Ministry of Finance disagreed with the EEC.
"If the introduction of any provisions poses a threat to the health of Russian citizens, the state is obliged to establish more stringent rules,” Russian Finance Ministry reported.
