Armenia’s Permanent Representative to the UN Mher Margaryan has been elected as Vice-President of the  UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) from the Eastern European States, Xinhua reported.

On July 25 ECOSOC elected the President and three Vice-Presidents for its 2020 Session.

Thus, Norwegian Permanent Representative to the UN Mona Juul on Thursday was elected the new ECOSOC president, while Permanent Representative of Armenia Mher Margaryan was elected vice president of ECOSOC.
