A Russian prosecutor has asked the Moscow City Court to sentence Executive Director of “Industrial Union of Donbas” Ukrainian metallurgical corporation Oleg Mkrtchyan to 9 years in prison (Mkrtchyan is charged with machinations in the amount of 1,000,000,000 Russian rubles), as reported an insider to TASS.

“During debates between the parties at Moscow State Court, the prosecutor asked the court to sentence Mkrtchyan to 9 years under the condition that he serves his sentence at a correctional institution. The prosecutor also asked to impose an additional punishment in the form of a penalty in the amount of 1,000,000 Russian rubles,” the news agency’s interlocutor said.
