The World Congress on Information Technology 2019 (WCIT 2019) will be organized at the highest level. This is what Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan said during the session of the inter-agency commission set up to organize the World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT 2019) today.

The participants of the session discussed issues related to the agenda of the Congress, the initial recorded outcomes and current challenges, the approved speakers and other topics. They particularly touched upon the organizing of a roundtable discussion with ministers.

During the discussion, the participants stated that, taking into consideration the fact that the Congress will gather the top IT companies and people calling the shots in the sector, it is necessary to create opportunities for them to identify the investment opportunities in Armenia and explore the prospects for beneficial cooperation with Armenia’s IT companies.

Summing up the results of the session, Avinyan gave relevant assignments and earmarked the future actions for organizing the Congress.
