Minister of Justice of Armenia Rustam Badasyan received today Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia Seyyed Kazem Sajjad, as reported the Ministry of Justice of Armenia.
The minister expressed gratitude to the Ambassador for organizing the meeting and expressed willingness to enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The Ambassador emphasized that he is ending his diplomatic mission in Armenia and will be leaving with warm and bright memories.
During the meeting, the justice minister and the Ambassador touched upon the transfer of Iranian convicts serving their sentence in Armenia to Iran, the efforts for further deepening of cooperation in the legal sector, the enforcement of the agreement “On the transfer of convicts between the Republic of Armenia and the Islamic Republic of Iran”, as well as the upcoming visit of Armenia’s justice minister to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
