The Chinese company ZTE launched Monday the sale of its first smartphone - Axon 10 Pro - with 5G support, Technode reported. 

The ZTE smartphone starts at RMB 4,999 (around $720), and it supports only non-stand-alone networks, which still rely on existing 4G infrastructure for some functions.

The device is equipped with the latest Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor with 6 GB of RAM, running on the Android 9.0 Pie operating system. The amount of internal memory is 128 GB, while the smartphone is equipped with a microSD card slot with a capacity of up to 512 GB. The battery capacity is 4 thousand milliampere-hours.

The first eight models of smartphones for fifth-generation mobile communications received quality certificates in China in July, Thus, they entered the Chinese market.

Huawei introduced four models, the remaining four certificates received Chinese manufacturers Oppo, Vivo, ZTE and One Plus.
