I urge civil society representatives to organize a meeting with me. This is what Director of the National Security Service of Armenia Artur Vanetsyan told journalists today, touching upon the criticism of civil society representatives.

“I call on and urge civil society representatives to organize a discussion in any format and ask all their questions. I’m ready to answer any question,” he said.

Vanetsyan assured that he is open for communication. “If they want to hold a discussion and are truly concerned about all the issues that they raise, I urge them to organize an open discussion. If they don’t, then we can state that they are criticizing under the guidance of this or that force,” he said, adding that he doesn’t know about those forces and doesn’t want to make assumptions.
