Armenia’s Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan received today Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to Armenia Vincenzo del Monaco, as reported the Department of Information and Public Relations at the Ministry of Justice.

Greeting the Ambassador, the minister stated that he is aware of the effective cooperation between Italy and Armenia in the justice sector and expressed his willingness to contribute to enhancement of the partnership.

The Ambassador expressed gratitude for the meeting, congratulated Rustam Badasyan on assuming the office of Minister of Justice of Armenia in a period of reforms and stated that the Ministry of Justice can rely on Italy for full support.

During the meeting, Minister Badasyan touched upon the reforms underway in the anti-corruption field, setting aside the efforts aimed at preventing corruption and disclosing corruption crimes, as well as the creation of a new Anti-Corruption Court out of all the short-term and long-term programs.
