Armenia’s Minister of Economy Tigran Khachatryan and his Kyrgyz counterpart have signed an agreement on ruling out double taxation and preventing tax evasion.

As reported the Ministry of Economy of Armenia, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan and Minister of Economy of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Sanzhar Mukanbetov signed the "Agreement on Excluding Double Taxation of Revenue and Preventing Tax Evasion between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan". The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council.

The signing of the agreement on excluding double taxation of revenue between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Kyrgyzstan will, through the formation of a sustainable and predictable field of taxation for foreign investors, provide the opportunity to promote the flows of mutual investments between the two countries, further intensify the trade and economic relations, etc.

Today marked the launch of the session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in the Kyrgyz city of Cholpon Ata in a narrow format and followed by an enlarged session held with the participation of Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan and Minister of Economy Tigran Khachatryan from the Armenian side.
