Huawei, a telecommunications equipment manufacturer, has revealed Cyberverse, a mixed VR and AR reality services platform that helps people navigate space and learn more about the world around them, TASS reported.

The platform was introduced at the session on AR and VR technologies within three-day Huawei Developer Conference - 2019, said Wei Luo, an expert on Huawei's strategy in hardware and photo capabilities.

According to Wei Luo, such technology can generally change the approach to the development of many areas. It can be used in tourism when, when pointing to a particular area, the traveler will see information about the museum, the sculpture or the route to the objects. It can also be useful when making purchases, as well as visiting hospitals, train stations, airports.

Platform services can be integrated into various third-party applications.

It was noted that the new technology will give an impetus to business development, as the platform opens up new opportunities for advertisers.
