YEREVAN. – Shots were fired in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.

On Sunday at 1:35am, police received a call from a woman informing that some people had parked their cars near her house, taken the household members out, and there was an argument, the Police press service told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The police officers who were dispatched to the scene found out that four men were arguing outside the said house with its proprietor, his wife and their son, during which the person who had called the police—and who is the daughter of this man—had fired two shots in the air with a gas pistol.

Two shells and one bullet were found at the scene.

The woman handed over the pistol. 

A forensic examination has been ordered.

A report is being prepared on the incident.
