Minister of Finance of Armenia Atom Janjughazyan received today representatives of Moody’s, a financial services company, as reported the Ministry of Finance.

During the meeting, the parties touched upon the current economic state of Armenia, as well as the current reforms and the prospects for economic development. Among the items on the agenda were the amendments to the Tax Code of Armenia and the expected impact of those amendments, the effectiveness of the tax-budgetary rule to be applied in Armenia and the reforms being implemented in the public procurement sector.

The minister voiced hope that the scope of reforms that the Government of Armenia is implementing in different directions will have a positive impact on the ranking of the Republic of Armenia.
