On August 13, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay Rodolfo Nin Novoa will arrive in the Republic of Armenia on an official visit, as reported the news service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia. The meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Uruguay will be held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia on August 14.

During the visit, Minister Rodolfo Nin Novoa will be received by Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and is scheduled to meet with Minister of Healthcare Arsen Torosyan, High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan and Mayor of Yerevan Hayk Marutyan.

The Uruguayan foreign minister will also visit Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex and pay tribute to the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
