Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia Arayik Harutyunyan received today Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic Bedřich Kopecký, as reported the news service of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia.

Issues related to the Agreement on Cooperation between the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of the Czech Republic in the Fields of Education and Science were discussed during the meeting.

The parties also discussed the opportunity for the implementation of cooperation programs in the field of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) through the involvement of Armenia’s top research institutions.

Minister Harutyunyan expressed willingness to share the experience of cultural and technological education in Armenia’s schools, and Ambassador Bedřich Kopecký expressed his interest in the teaching of chess in Armenian schools and the use of this experience in the Czech Republic.
