YEREVAN. – The Azerbaijani frontier service has disseminated another information bait, presenting the shifting of the combat positions on its territory as an exceptional achievement, to which, sadly, the Armenian information arena responds immediately. Artsrun Hovhannisyan, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense (MOD) of Armenia, noted this on Facebook.

“Let me remind again that the shifting of positions on the frontline is of a permanent nature,” he added. “However, unlike Azerbaijan, the Armenian side usually does not give them a public resonance, since our objective in carrying out combat duty is not to advertise any action on an opportune and inopportune occasion, but to maintain an operational advantage over the adversary and to keep it under control.

“Nonetheless, if the Azerbaijani side continues in this way, surprises await them by the display of the operational-strategic advantages acquired as a result of the professional actions of the Armenian Armed Forces.

“The [Armenian] military knows its task.”
