YEREVAN. – For the first time in history an orchestra will play a melody created by artificial intelligence online, Alexander Yesayan, president of the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE), said during a press conference in Yerevan on Saturday.
Musicians from 16 countries will take part in a concert at Republican Square which will start at 8p.m., October 6.
“An orchestra of 70 foreign and 30 Armenian musicians will be formed under the direction of Sergey Smbatyan. For the first time in history, the orchestra will play a piece of music created by artificial intelligence online,” he said, adding that the world famous DJ Armin van Buuren will also take part in the concert.
