Young activists from Yerevan, Tavush, Shirak, Lori, Kotayk and Ararat regions completed a 6-day training for trainers (ToT) “Progressing youth participation in Armenia on governance and peace” held in Dilijan from August 11 up to 16.

The main goal of the training program was to share knowledge and skills with 15 young people having experience in the field of youth work and teaching for decision making, conflict management and peacebuilding. Moreover, the training modules were developed on UN Security Council Resolution 2250.

The participant of ToT,  head of “Future Bridge” NGO Arman Tonikyan, emphasizing the role of youth in decision-making and governance, believes that peace is the most enlightening way to ensure the quality of human life – susutainable development. And the answer to the question “What is peace?” is given by young European ambassador at EU Neighbors East Tatevik Khodedanyan – “Conflict without pain…”

Project, which units young peace-lovers, was implemented in partnership with the Peaceful Change Initiative (PCi), an international NGO funded by the UK Government and the Youth Cooperation Center of Dilijan NGO.
