Egypt intends to be a fashionable and modern tourist destination, while the Egyptian Tourist Ministry has abandoned traditional advertising channels, and focused on social media, ATOP reported.

Egypt signed a deal with Beautiful Destinations (BD) with 20 million followers. The main platform of BD is the Instagram network, where the number of followers reaches 12.7 million people.

The first video, lasting over two minutes, as stated in the message of the Egyptian Tourism Ministry is intended to simultaneously emphasize the ‘hidden pearls’ of Egypt and all the attractive sides of the tourist destination.

In addition to the traditional the Great Pyramid of Giza and the statues of Luxor, views of Alexandria and Aswan, the desert, sea depths, ballooning, a fish market, belly dancing, rock climbing and many other activities that interspersed with shots involving smiling Egyptians flicker in a video.
