Police officers began arresting environmental activists on Baghramyan Avenue who wanted to block the street,

After the police did not allow the activists to take part in the rally in the garden near the parliament building, they wanted to block the street. Some of them sat on the ground in protest. The police gave time to clear the street. Clashes began between the protesters and activists, and law enforcement officers began to drive demonstrators, including environmentalists Ani Khachatryan and Gegham Adyan.

During the scuffle, human rights activist Zaruhi Hovhannisyan was pushed to the ground. She stated that the actions of the police were disproportionate.

“This shows the true result of the revolution,” she said.

As reported earlier, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held discussions on the operation of the Amulsar mine, in which environmentalists also participated. At the same time, an action against the operation of the mine was held on 26 Baghramyan Avenue.
