A free trade agreement between Serbia and the Eurasian Economic Union may be signed on October 25, Russia’s Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko said.
“Signing of an agreement on a free trade zone between Serbia and the Eurasian Economic Union is expected on October 25. This is a significant event, the media are paying reasonable attention. The EAEU is an effective integration project meeting modern requirements,” he tweeted.
Earlier in August, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev spoke of the need to accelerate the signing of agreements on the Eurasian Union’s free trade zones with Serbia and Singapore.
