Armenia’s Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan today received the delegation led by outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia Seyyed Kazem Sajjad.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the course of and prospects for cooperation between Iran and Armenia and exchanged views on regional security and international developments.

Davit Tonoyan expressed gratitude to the Iranian ambassador for strengthening the relations between Iran and Armenia and raising the level of effectiveness of cooperation during his term of office and wished him success in the future.
