This year Moscow is celebrating its 872nd birthday, and Yerevan is also preparing to celebrate.
On the occasion, for the first time, events will be held on September 7 and 8 at the initiative of the Department of Foreign Economy and International Relations and the “Dom Moskvi” Moscow Center for Culture and Business and with the support of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Armenia and Yerevan Municipality.
The solemn opening of the events dedicated to Moscow’s birthday will take place at Dom Moskvi Center in Yerevan on September 7, followed by an exhibition of the works of the Henrik Igityan National Center of Aesthetics and a festive concert.
Many interesting events will take place in Yerevan on September 8. There will also be exhibitions, film screenings, literary competitions and tournaments. The organizers are certain that the events will spark more interest in Russian culture and language and will contribute to the enhancement of the cultural dialogue between Yerevan and Moscow.
