A woman who was hit by a car has died in hospital in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.

On Monday, at 1:40am, Police received a call from a hospital informing that Noel Tamazyan, 45, was admitted with injuries, and she said she had sustained these injuries as a result of falling in an avenue.

It was found out that on the same day at 1:20am, a car had hit this woman at an intersection.

And at 10:20am, the hospital informed that she had died.

An investigation is underway.
