Tehran will not take another step to reduce its obligations under the Iranian nuclear deal if it can sell oil, said Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, speaking in parliament, Tasnim reported.

According to him, if the three European parties to the deal - UK, France, and Germany - begin to fulfill their basic obligations under the nuclear deal, Iran may reconsider its decision to further reduce obligations.

However, if they do not take any significant measures, Iran will definitely take the third step in the coming days, he added.

According to him, the most important thing now is that Iran should be able to sell its oil as this will ease the conditions for them to take steps to fulfill the obligations under the nuclear deal.

He noted that Tehran will announce the start of the third step to reduce its obligations if talks with Europe fail to produce results by Thursday.
