Artsakh Foreign Minister Masis Mayilyan will decide whether to participate or not in the presidential election within 1-2 months.

According to him, there were positive reviews from Artsakh, Armenia and the Diaspora.

“I am grateful for this, and this will help make a decision,” he told reporters. “I think that I will make a decision within 1-2 months.”

Touching on publications in the press that the current President of Artsakh, Bako Sahakyan, will nominate his candidacy, Mayilyan noted that Sahakyan cannot nominate a candidate, he will create appropriate conditions for the elections to be held within the framework of the law.

He did not directly answer the question of how relevant is the information that he is the preferred candidate for the Armenian authorities.
