It’s too early to say whether the residents of Jermuk town agree or disagree with the call that Prime Minister of Armenia made today to open the roads leading to the Amulsar gold mine. This is what deputy of the My Step faction of the National Assembly Victor Yengibaryan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Touching upon the statement by the Sasna Tsrer Pan-Armenian Party that certain forces are trying to take advantage of the issue related to exploitation of the Amulsar gold mine in order to organize a conspiracy act against Nikol Pashinyan and overthrow him, Yengibaryan said the following: “That’s the political party’s opinion and concern. I respect the political party’s opinion, but can’t comment on it.”

As for another statement by the Sasna Tsrer Pan-Armenian Party that there will be snap parliamentary elections in a year, if there are no force-majeur situations, the deputy said the following: “The National Assembly is working very smoothly, and you will see this, if you take a look at the adopted laws and convened sessions of the previous years. It’s the party’s opinion. It didn’t garner enough votes during the parliamentary elections in 2018, and this is probably why they are making such statements.”
