YEREVAN. – The point system for violating traffic rules will not apply to foreigners who have entered Armenia with cars with foreign license plates. Deputy Chief of Police Hovhannes Kocharyan said this at Tuesday’s National Assembly debates on the package of bills on amendments and addenda to the Code of Administrative Offenses and related laws.

He noted that there other means of authority—up to the ban on entry to Armenia—for the drivers of such vehicles.

“Nonetheless, the point system can’t be applied to them,” Kocharyan stressed.
