There were no classes today after the earthquake that took place yesterday. This is what Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia Arayik Harutyunyan wrote on his Facebook page.

“A while ago, I talked to Governor of Shirak Province Tigran Petrosyan. Classes will resume in Ashotsk and Bavra tomorrow. There were no classes today after the earthquake that took place yesterday since the relevant services had to be checked in order to see if there were damages buildings or not. The governor of the province informed that the buildings are safe.

Although the regional governor’s office and the communities are alert, you can address the community council or regional governor’s office in case of any problems within structures and buildings,” he wrote.
