The position according to Amulsar should be based on legality, said Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan on Wednesday at the Armenian parliament.

The Prime Minister noted that if the mine is illegally closed today, then tomorrow, by the same logic, the media may close bypassing the law.

 “My position is that the position on this issue should be based on the rule of law,” he said adding that there are different approaches to this problem, but the solution to all this must be legal. 

“We must strive for truth and be guided by it without any assumptions about what truth should be. This is the only position stemming from the status of the Prime Minister of Armenia, which can be justified and legitimate,” he said.
