YEREVAN. – The 15th meeting of the Advisory Committee on Tax Policy and Administration under the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) was held at the Ministry of Finance of Armenia.

In particular, the discussants conferred on the opportunities for simplifying indirect tax calculation and payment procedures when conducting mutual trade within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member countries, as well as the precepts and procedures for charging VAT when providing online services, press service of the Ministry of Finance informed.

During the meeting, the parties also referred to the opportunities for the development of mutual assistance and cooperation tools between the tax authorities of the EAEU countries—and which are primarily aimed at ensuring a new level of cooperation between these authorities.

The Eurasian Economic Commission is the executive body of the Eurasian Economic Union which comprises Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
