Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Armenia Kishan Dan Deval today presented his Letters of Credence to President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian, who congratulated the newly appointed Ambassador and wished him success in the implementation of his diplomatic mission.

The President expressed confidence that the Ambassador will put in his efforts for the strengthening and enhancement of the deeply rooted historic and cultural relations between the two countries. He stated that India and Armenia have great potential for the deepening of cooperation and can implement mutually beneficial sectors such as new technologies, science, education, culture and tourism.

In his turn, the Ambassador expressed willingness to do everything possible for the development of relations.

The interlocutors also touched upon the Armenian community of India and considered the community’s role important from the perspective of the strengthening of the historically established relations between the two friendly nations.
