A consultation was held at the headquarters of the Police of Armenia, and it was chaired by First Deputy Chief of Police Arman Sargsyan. Deputy Defense Minister Gabriel Balayan, the Acting Chief Military Commissar, as well the leadership of the capital city Yerevan Municipality and the Police were in attendance.

Several officers from the Yerevan Police Department and its divisions as well as from the units of the Ministry of Defense (MOD) also participated in the consultation.

In their addresses, Sargsyan and Balayan stressed the importance of cooperation between the Police and the MOD of Armenia.

The discussants conferred on the specific situations and issues that require cooperation between the relevant units of the Police and the MOD in order to effectively resolve them. In this context, they explored the avenues for further expanding and strengthening their collaboration, and specific instructions were given to the heads of the relevant services.

Several arrangements were made at the end of this consultation.
