Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan welcomed the morning statement of Armenian parliament speaker Ararat Mirzoyan regarding the situation with the decision of the Constitutional Court in the case of Robert Kocharyan.

The prime minister suggested that Mirzoyan was not talking about political assessment, Pashinyan told reporters in Vanadzor on Monday.

“Many lawyers believe that the Constitutional Court made an illegal decision. I have been careful about these statements. But the dissenting opinion of the two judges clearly demonstrates this, ”Pashinyan said, adding that everyone knows who the chair of the Constitutional Court is.

According to Pashinyan, at least two judges who made the decision are connected with the March 1 case, and it is not clear why they did not recuse themselves.

He also noted that the Constitutional Court is a co-author of all violations in the country since 1996 the Constitutional Court confirms all falsifications.

“And it seems to them that they can continue to work against the people? In the name of corruption and fraud? The National Assembly and the people should think what to do with such a Constitutional Court,” he said.
