Yesterday’s total pressure on the Constitutional Court was a direct message to judge today, Armenia ex-president Robert Kocharyan’s son Levon Kocharyan told reporters on Tuesday.

According to him, the pressure on the judge was obvious.

“Yesterday's total pressure on the CC was a direct message to the judge today. I think it was not in vain to start this all the day before. Yesterday you saw huge pressures from both the Prime Minister and the National Assembly,” he said referring to Armenian parliament speaker Ararat Mirzoyan and Armenia PM Nikol Pashinyan’s statement on the situation in the Constitutional Court.

Asked whether he thought NSS director Artur Vanetsyan's resignation had anything to do with Kocharyan's case.

"It seems to me that Mr. Vanetsyan has clearly stated the reasons for his resignation. I cannot rule out that,” he noted.
