Defense Minister David Tonoyan has denied the rumors about the dismissals of high-ranking officials of the Defense Ministry.

His remarks came to comment on the rumors on possible developments after the revelations of the National Assembly's inquiry committee into the April war.

“It is said that the parliament investigative committee will finish its work, you will see the results, we will make decisions based on them. The work of the commission is efficient at this moment because they receive information also from the Defense Ministry, and I think it will be enough to draw conclusions,” he said.

Asked to comment, whether it is possible to launch criminal cases or not, he said: “Everything is possible, but I cannot evaluate the work of the commission at this stage. The commission's job is not to bring a criminal case or not.”
