Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan today received outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Judith Farnworth.

The Prime Minister highly appreciated Judith Farnworth’s activities and expressed gratitude for her efforts for development of the British-Armenian relations. The Prime Minister attached importance to the development of cooperation in different sectors and emphasized that the Armenian government is interested in further development and expansion of the relations.

Judith Farnworth expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for the fruitful cooperation, wished Pashinyan’s cabinet success and added that the UK government also attaches importance to the close partnership with Armenia in different sectors. The Ambassador particularly emphasized that the British government is willing to help the Armenian government raise the level of effectiveness of the system of governance.

During the meeting, the interlocutors touched upon the priorities of the Armenian government and the mutual cooperation between Armenia and the European Union.
