Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has posted the statistics on his Facebook.
According to the data for the first half of 2019, gas losses and costs for own consumption in the gas transportation and distribution systems in Armenia are at the lowest level ever recorded, with only 4.9% or 58.4 million cubic meters of imported gas. In comparison with the previous year losses and expenses decreased by almost 1 %.
During the same period in Armenia, the lowest level of losses ever recorded in electricity distribution networks was recorded at 7.2%. In 2018, losses were 8.2%, in 2017 - 9.1%, in 2016 - 10.7%.
The electricity consumption in January-June of this year increased by 6.3% compared to the previous year, amounting to 2988.2 million kWh, he said.
