The head of Kosh Penitentiary Institution of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia and two others have been apprehended and arrested under the suspicion of receiving a bribe within the scope of the criminal case instituted by the Investigation Department of the National Security Service of Armenia, reports the press center of the National Security Service.

“Officers of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia disclosed a case of giving and receiving a bribe as a result of large-scale operational intelligence measures and investigative actions.

In particular, the head of Kosh Penitentiary Institution of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia and two others have been apprehended and arrested under the suspicion of receiving a bribe within the scope of the criminal case instituted by the Investigation Department of the National Security Service of Armenia.

In relation to the prima facie crime, preliminary investigation continues, measures are being taken to reveal the scope of other participants of the crime,” the press release of the National Security Service reads.
