What advice will the already former police chief Valeriy Osipyan give to the Prime Minister when the latter was discontent with his work? This is the question journalists asked Spokesperson of the Prime Minister Vladimir Karapetyan today.

“Ask Mr. Osipyan when you see him. If there are complaints about the work of an official in one sector, this doesn’t mean the person can’t be helpful in another sector and carry out his or her activities properly,” he said.

Yesterday Valeriy Osipyan was dismissed from the post of Chief of Police of Armenia and was appointed Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister a couple of hours after his dismissal.

When asked if there are other officials or ministers whom the Prime Minister suspects and wants to dismiss, Vladimir Karapetyan said the following: “If those officials are still in office, there are no suspicions. It means the Prime Minister trusts them.”
